Nitro Drift District is unashamed arcade racing. Physics are loose in the best way, and the whole game is tuned around holding long, glowing drifts through tight corners. Nail a chain and the boost payoff feels great.
The tilt controls are optional, which we were glad about, because the touch-steer setup is actually solid. Tracks are short and made for repeat runs, and the ghost-race mode against your own best lap is quietly addictive.
Car variety is a little thin at the start, and progression can feel grindy. But the core driving is so satisfying that we kept coming back to shave tenths off lap times.
